At OmniSynk AI, a B2B SaaS platform designed to optimize e-commerce management, I led redefining how users interact with and manage their settings. This project focused on simplifying managing account settings for users as well as giving users the autonomy to manage their settings in a way that aligns with their individual business needs and priorities.
My project revolved around Streamlining Account & Billing Management within OmniSynkAI Settings. This project involved consolidating scattered settings into a unified, well-organized structure on the Settings page, designing an intuitive flow for managing billing, teams, plans, and account information, ensuring data accuracy and security, providing transparency into billing & plan details, and empowering users to manage their account settings and billing independently.
My solutions streamlined settings and billing management for OmnSynk AI users, empowering thousands of businesses globally to easily manage their accounts independently, resulting in a significant increase in customer satisfaction & self-service task completion as well as a reduction in customer support tickets.
Throughout this project, I worked cross collaboratively with a team of UX researchers, project managers, software engineers, content designers, and accessibility designers.

Define
OmniSynkAI's settings lacked a clear, intuitive structure and navigation. This absence risked creating user confusion and inefficiency, potentially leading to errors in managing billing, teams, and account information, as well as increased reliance on support.
To address this, I streamlined the settings into a unified layout that provides a clear, intuitive flow for managing billing, teams, plans, login & security and account details. This redesign enhances transparency and gives users self-service empowerment and the autonomy to manage their settings in a way that aligns with their individual priorities and preferences.
If there's one aspect of OmniSynk AI that every user will engage with at some point, it’s their settings. Since settings are a universal touchpoint for all users, ensuring they are intuitive and effective is crucial. This solution addresses key pain points, aligning with OmniSynkAI's goal of providing a seamless, integrated e-commerce platform, fostering trust and reliability by simplifying the complex processes associated with e-commerce.

This solution minimizes errors and reduces reliance on customer support, improving both customer satisfaction and retention.
The Importance to the Users
For users, this design makes managing their accounts and billing more intuitive and transparent and less error-prone. It empowers them with self-service capabilities, reducing the need for support and enhancing their overall experience and satisfaction with the platform.

Ideate
I worked closely with user experience researchers (UXRs) to understand common user needs and pain points. With that I conducted an existing flow audit to identify key pain points such as poor navigation, unorganized settings, unclear billing details, and challenges in managing account & plan information.
Based on my insights, here's what I aimed to create for the user moving forward:

I used Mobbin to gather inspiration from leading platforms. I drew from Loom’s effective use of side rail navigation to streamline settings access, Google’s approach to managing security settings and logged-in devices for comprehensive security management, and Notion’s clear and user-friendly payment modals for handling billing information. This helped shape a more intuitive and secure user experience for OmniSynkAI’s settings.

Design
Working within the OmniSynk AI design system, I redesigned the settings experience, focusing on enhancing navigation, creating a a more intuitive user flow, and simplifying information presentation. My goal was to transform how users interact with their settings and billing details, ultimately creating a smoother and more efficient experience.
I collaborated with an accessibility designer to ensure that my designs met all accessibility guidelines and were inclusive to everyone. After finalizing my initial designs, we conducted a thorough review to address any potential barriers and confirm that the interface would be usable by all individuals. This was important for creating a product that is not only functional but also welcoming and accessible to a diverse user base.

Working on this project for OmniSynk AI taught me the importance of balancing user needs with technical constraints while designing scalable solutions.
As OmniSynk AI continues to grow, I envision the settings evolving alongside it to meet the expanding needs of users. Moving forward, I’d love to introduce features like the ability to seamlessly switch between different accounts or profiles, especially for users with multiple subscriptions. These enhancements would further empower users, offering greater flexibility and a more personalized experience as they navigate the platform.
